He is a seven year old rabbit who is so well known at Beaverlodge School, he has his own “Hang with Humphry Club.” Recently Mr. Humphry, the rabbit, inspired the students to take on a creative service project.

“Humphry has become a valued member of our school. He is a one-of-a-kind rabbit. He is a great listener when we need someone to talk to or something soft to hold on to. He has taught us to walk safely and to clean up after ourselves. He makes us laugh every day,” shared Kaytlin Drews, Mr. Humphry’s owner and Beaverlodge School teacher.

The students on the Beaverlodge Earth Council, Kaelan, Maab and Annelie decided to give back to small animals like Humphry. They worked together to create a calendar. Humphry is featured each month with a seasonal theme.

All funds raised will be donated to Popcorns and Binkies Rescue Haven.

There is still time to get your Humphry calendar. They are being sold for $5 each. Copies can be purchased at Beaverlodge School and our Administration Office at 181 Henlow Bay.

Special thanks to all who helped with this project including Mrs. Wiles and Jennifer Lee Photography who donated their time and skills.
