Bus carry-on items guidelines

Carry-on items are restricted to those that can be safely managed by each passenger while seated in their assigned seat.

Guidelines:

• Items must be secured in a backpack.
• Band instruments in carrying cases allowed on the bus are trombones, trumpets, flutes, clarinets, alto & tenor saxophone and smaller instruments, only if space permits in the student’s assigned seat.
• Items not allowed on the school bus are:
  • Hockey bags
  • Hockey Sticks
  • Skates that aren’t in a sturdy bag
  • Baseball bats
  • Skis and poles
  • Tuba
  • Baritone Sax
  • Guitars
  • Snowshoes
  • Suitcases
  • Camping Equipment
  • Skateboards
  • Scooters
  • Snowboards
  • Potted plants
  • Projects with exposed wet paint
  • Water guns
