Fort Richmond Student Aylin Kohan Performs Her Spoken Poetry To Celebrate International Development Week
The Manitoba Council for International Cooperation (MCIC) recently kicked off International Development Week 2023 at the Manitoba Legislature.
International Development Week has been celebrating Canadian efforts in international humanitarian causes since 1991. This year's theme is "Go for the Goals", highlighting the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
Attended by government representatives, CEOs and EDs of national non-profits, and many other stakeholders in human rights, Pembina Trails very own Aylin Kohan of FRC engaged the audience in a spoken word poem titled "Someday."
