Big time congratulations to Oak Park grade 10 student and swimmer extraordinaire Mia West, who last week was recognized as Sport Manitoba's 2021 Junior Athlete of the Year, after a very successful season in the pool.

West, who is part Danish, won seven gold medals and one silver medal at the 2021 Prairie Winter International, three golds and a bronze at the Danish Junior Championships last July and three silvers and two bronze medals at the Ontario Junior International.
