Happy Diwali!

École South Pointe School hosted a lovely Diwali festival of lights celebration. Ms. Louis' grade seven class worked really hard in creating some lovely displays about India and in the scripts they wrote and presented to interested on-lookers.

Diwali is a time to celebrate community, family and hopes for a brighter future.

At their festival of lights over 250 diyas were lit. The school's sidewalk and parking lot looked absolutely radiant.

Congratulations to everyone who worked so hard to make the event a smashing success.
