Jacqui Kroeker, Principal

I am so humbled to be travelling this journey with you. I am passionate about making every member of our community feel like they belong and achieve their own level of mastery. I strive to model my values of kindness, humility, and courage on a daily basis. Opening PTC has been one of the most profound privileges of my life. Watching a new culture grow from the seeds we planted is a beautiful thing. My passion lies in bringing a two-eyed seeing perspective to education – this is a lens that was developed and proposed by Mi’kmaw Elders Albert and Murdena Marshall. Two-eyed seeing holds that there are diverse understandings of the world and that by acknowledging and respecting this (without perpetuating the dominance of one over another) we can build an understanding. I love my family dearly which includes my husband Andrew, my two sons, my two dogs (Penny and Norman) and my family who live afar.

Linda Eden, Vice Principal

I am honored to join this unique learning environment.  Kindess, patience, trust and empathy lead my work.  I look forward to connecting with students, staff and families as I believe that successful schools are places where growth, inclusion and success are fostered through positive relationships; where students develop confidence in their ability to learn skills, think critically, become global citizens and to be an active part of their educational journey.

I get excited to a nerdy level about teaching math, and I have a passion for teaching (and learning) technology. When I’m not at work, I enjoy spending time with my family, including our three furry feline friends. I love riding my bike and getting out in nature, but I also enjoy geeking out at my computer with a good game. I look forward to meeting you all as we continue to build the Pembina Trails Collegiate community together!

I love a collaborative classroom where mistakes are expected, growth is achieved, and we all learn together! Tyeba Cox,
Mathematics

Hello! My name is Tyeba Cox. I am excited to be part of the PTC Math team! My passion is math and the way that math is found everywhere in the universe! Learning math develops critical thinking skills and helps in understanding other subjects such as science, social studies, music and art!  Learning math allows students to develop analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills all while being creative, increasing our capacity for abstract and concrete reasoning.  I’ve been teaching college-level math to high-school students for over 20 years. I have a masters degree in math and continue to learn more every day. I enjoy tending to my garden in the summer and harvesting the fruits of my labor!  I look forward to guiding our PTC students in their high school journey.

Hi everyone! My name is Babak Yousefi, a member of the PTC EA staff. I am basically Kurdish from Kurdistan and am so excited, as a newcomer, to be working at a newly constructed high-tech school with all these nice staff. This year, 2024, is my second year of being in Canada and I am really enjoying my work while completing my Master of Education at the University of Manitoba. It has been almost 9 months working as an EA for me, first at FRC and now at PTC, during which I have had my greatest times.

I am sure your children will greatly enjoy studying in a friendly space like this and can fulfill their dreams much easier.
