Vincent Massey officially opens La Tayr Kamik, Earth Place
Introducing La Tayr Kamik, Earth Place, a garden and learning space at the heart of Intitut Collegial Vincent Massey Collegiate.
La Tayr Kamik is named using a combination of Michif and Cree language, honouring languages spoken on staff. You will hear French and English languages throughout the video, honouring ICVMC as a dual track, French Immersion and English program setting.
Kristian Budowski opens the video linked below by sharing, "This is a place where we learn about the land, and people that came before us; experience the plants and animals that we share the land with and develop our community and sense of place at the heart of our school."
