Pembina Trails Collegiate (PTC) Invites you...

Grade 9 Only Information Evening Thursday, February 1 @ 7pm
This session aims to provide current grade 8 families, and students in our catchment, with an overview of a high school experience and what grade 9 will look like. It is the start of the credit system, semesters and much more. PTC’s school model of teaching and learning is a little different, so it is important you understand the why behind our school model. Tours and more information will be provided during our open house on Wednesday, February 7,
This evening is for all students in grades 9-12 (2024-25) and Families. The agenda for the evening is below with different timings for the relevant information sessions.
Feeder School Tours (students only)
PTC will be providing transportation to the PTC campus. The purpose of these tours is to have students feel a sense of safety and belonging as they begin their high school journey. This is often an exciting time but for some students this presents uncertainties. We will answer their questions so all students can feel settled for the rest of their school year.

Online course registrations will be handed out during the tours listed above, so please ask your child about their personalized package. PTC’s student support team will be visiting the feeder schools listed above during the week of February 20-23rd to assist students to complete their online course registration information if they have not already completed them. This is essential as this helps PTC decide what courses are offered based on student voice. Online course registrations need to be completed by Friday, February 23, 2024.
In addition, all students should return their student update form that is inside the registration package to their current school office by Friday, February 23, 2024. This assists us communicate with future PTC students more efficiently and effectively.
All PTC students will hopefully receive their timetable for the 2024-25 school year by the end of June. These will be issued to the feeder schools.
Student Support Teachers will be available for timetable changes on Tuesday, June 25-Friday, June 28 at PTC by appointment only. More information to follow. The PTC office will be open to the public on Monday, August 26, 2024.
We look forward to welcoming you to the PTC community. #wheretobe-PTC! #trailhawks.
In gratitude and partnership,
