Prairie Pointe

Pembina Trails is happy to welcome the families of Prairie Pointe. The community in southwest Winnipeg is one of Winnipeg’s newest developments.
At our regular Board of Trustees meeting on March 23, 2017 we adopted the motion to designate schools for families moving to Prairie Pointe. Students living in this community will attend the following Pembina Trails schools:
K-6 English - Bairdmore School
7-9 English - Arthur A. Leach School
10-12 English - Fort Richmond Collegiate
K-4 French Immersion - École Crane
5-8 French Immersion - École Viscount Alexander
9-12 French Immersion - Institut collégial Vincent Massey Collegiate
Prairie Pointe is bounded by:
Bridgwater Trails in the north
The Perimeter Highway in the south
Kenaston Boulevard in the east
Brady Road in the west
In Pembina Trails, we have a policy that helps guide decisions on school catchment areas. To learn more visit ourpolicy.
Our board has developed a solid plan to meet the educational needs of students moving into new communities. Please take a look at our “We’re Growing” web section. We have also created a map of our proposed school locations.
