🚲 New Bike Lock-Up System at Linden Meadows

You may have noticed a new addition to our school grounds—a secure bike lock-up system, installed thanks to a generous partnership with LM PAC this past August.
As part of our ongoing UNESCO learning, students have been discussing the importance of reducing carbon emissions by choosing active transportation, such as biking, to get to school. While many are eager to embrace this eco-friendly option, concerns have been raised about bike theft, which unfortunately affects a few students each year and can be quite upsetting.
We hope this new system will help address those concerns and encourage even more students to ride with confidence. Here’s what you need to know about using the bike cage:
🔐 Bike Cage Guidelines
  • The cage will be opened at the following times: Morning – 8:05 Lunch – 11:10 & 12:10 After School – 2:55
  • When morning practices are held the cage will be opened 10 mins before practice starts and relocked until school start.
  • Students should still lock their bikes securely to the racks using a sturdy lock.
  • Bikes should not be left overnight.
  • Please do not close the gate—staff will handle that once all bikes have arrived.
  • The gate will remain locked outside of the designated times to ensure security.
We’re excited to support active transportation and sustainability at Linden Meadows. Thank you for helping make our school a safer and greener place!
