Shaftesbury student receives adaptive tricycle in touching ceremony

Magic and love were on hand at Shaftesbury when the Children’s Rehabilitation Foundation, along with the generous support of Freedom Concepts, Inc., gave Shaftesbury student Jace a brand-new adaptive tricycle, a device that will change Jace’s life.

Freedom Concepts designs and builds custom tricycles and other adaptive devices but in this case they didn’t just build it, they bought it for Jace.

There are too many wonderful people involved in Jace’s care at Shaftesbury to list here, but each and every one deserves enormous gratitude for the work they do for Jace and so many others.

If you would like to help Children’s Rehabilitation Foundation raise money so more adaptive devices can be purchased for children who need them, run – don’t walk – to Tim Horton’s next week for their Smile Cookie campaign.

All week long Tim’s will donate $1 to the Children’s Rehabilitation Foundation for each $1 cookie that is sold.
