Congratulations to Pembina Trails Collegiate (PTC) student Absar who recently won a Canadian Association of Principals Student Leadership Award. The award acknowledges excellence in student leadership and included a $500 scholarship.

Absar has shown leadership in numerous ways at PTC as the founder and president of the Muslim Student Association, captain of the rugby team, and as a coach for Special Olympics. Outside of school, he volunteers his time with Islamic Relief Canada, Manitoba Islamic Association, and several other groups.
