Big-time congratulations to Owen Weekes and Kai Boyko for being named to Canada's U21 national volleyball team that will be competing in Mexico in June.

Weekes, fresh off winning his second provincial championship in a couple of months (this one in basketball, adding to the volleyball title earlier this year). He and Boyko were teammates last year on Team Manitoba that won the nationals last summer.

After they represent Canada in Mexico, Weekes and Boyko will continue to be teammates, this time with the University of Manitoba Bisons.

What a tremendous accomplishment for Kai, Owen, their coaches, their parents and everyone who helped them get to Team Canada.
