Student Transportation and Parking

For those students taking the bus to school, fares are payable at the regular transit rate for students. See links for Winnipeg Transit, for route information and schedules.  For students living in Lindenwoods, see Oak Park AM & PM bus routes attached.  The AM bus leaves Dovercourt and Oceanridge at 7:39 AM.  The PM bus leaves the school at 3:38 PM and heads back to Dovercourt and Oceanridge.

For parents dropping off and/or picking up students on a regular basis, if possible please make arrangements for a drop-off and/or pick-up meeting spot (a block or two away from the school) to minimize parking lot congestion at busy times (8:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.) and ensure safety of students and staff.  Please drive cautiously in the parking lot. The parking lot flows in a counter-clockwise direction. Together we can ensure the safety of all.  Thank you for your cooperation.

Oak Park's parking lot has a limited number of visitor spots as well as spots for our employees who are often required to come and go from the school. The majority of the lot is designated for staff and students who have signed up and paid for a parking spot. If a student wishes to sign up for the convenience of a parking spot, please come to the office and complete an application along with payment. Annual payment for the 2021-2022 school year is $116.92 for non-electrical and $233.85 for electrical (cash or current-date cheque payable to Pembina Trails School Division), plus a refundable $20 deposit (cash only).

Otherwise, parking is available on the side streets and subject to regular city bylaws.  Vehicles parked in the lot without authorization will receive a notice of violation followed up by a referral to ticketing authorities and/or towing companies.
