FRC's Team Black wins second consecutive League of Legends provincial title (video)
Pembina Trails would like to congratulate Fort Richmond Collegiate Centurions for not just hosting the provincial eSports championship, but also to FRC's Team Black for winning it!
This is the second consecutive year that Team Black from FRC won the League of Legends provincial eSports title.
FRC is proving to be a formidable force in eSports, as their Team Gold lost in the quarter finals.
Team Black had two returning members from last year’s provincial championship team – Gordan Zhang and Tei Oh. Tei is in grade 11 so he will have a chance to three-peat next year.
FRC is quickly becoming a dynasty on the provincial eSports scene!
Congratulations to Mr. Manness and everyone else involved in organizing and setting up the eSports provincials. It was a massive undertaking. The atmosphere in the gym, where students could watch the action on two big screens, was fantastic.
Congratulations to Alan Chen, Richard Lee, Albert Jung, Tei Oh, Ming Yu Wang, Gordon Zhang, coach Philip Tat and Vice-Principal Jon Manness.
Well done everyone!
