Community Programs


Lighthouse - Is an after school program for students in grades 6 - 7. Students meet in the library at 3:30. Programming begins with some homework/reading time, followed by organized activities which may include games, arts and crafts, cooking, physical activity, computers, video games, outings, etc. Students must be registered to attend the program. Please contact the school office for more information 

Ignite 3 - Ignite 3 is a summer program organized by Pembina Trails for students in Kindergarten to Grade 6. It takes place all day, 5 days a week, for the first 6 weeks of summer holidays. The program is by invitation only. Students are nominated by their classroom teachers based on a variety of criteria and are then selected for the program by the program leader and the school administration. Students work on a variety of fun math and English language arts skills in the mornings and spend the afternoons on outings and participating in experiential learning activities. 

City of Winnipeg - The city of Winnipeg rents our gym for a drop-in program or other activities. Please visit Winnipeg 311 for more information. 

Daycare - Pembina Trails School Division rents space to Prairie Children's Centre in General Byng School. For information about space and programs, please contact Prairie Children's directly at 204-475-7469
