Pembina Trails School Division Update on Grade 12 English Language Arts (ELA) Standards Assessment - Click "Learn More" for details

Manitoba Education and Early Childhood Learning (MEECL) have requested that Divisions implement a Grade 12 ELA assessment this semester in place of the Provincial Test that was suspended.

Pembina Trails will be administering an assessment to all students registered in ELA40S courses in semester 2.  This assessment is scheduled to take place on Thursday, May 30 (am) and on June 5 and 6 in regularly scheduled classes. 

This will be a robust assessment that will be worth 20% of the students’ final grade.  Individual high schools will share more direct messaging of details to students and their families shortly via School Messenger.
