The Pacific Junction library learning commons is a vibrant, collaborative environment that emphasizes student and staff learning through the model of inquiry and exploration.  Located at the centre of our school, it is a beautiful meeting place and the heart beat of the school.

Our library collection includes a varied selection of quality reading materials, available in a variety of formats. This ensures that every student is able to find a book that suits his/her interests and reading abilities. Students have a book exchange opportunity once per 6 day cycle.

Our high tech and low tech Makerspace areas are an extension of our learning commons. Students engage in Genius Hour, coding, green screen technology and many other computer applications and technologies to deepen and demonstrate their learning. Students can also be observed creating with Lego, doing puzzles, participating in art and science design challenges, as well as a wealth of other student-directed activities.

Little Lending Library

We are pleased to offer our students and our community the opportunity to access books throughout the year at our Little Lending Library located at the front of our school. Students, parents and community members are encouraged to bring a book, take a book and leave a book to share the love of reading!
