Hamza Haque from FRC wins bronze medal at Skills Canada National competition in Québec City
Hamza Haque, a Grade 12 student at Fort Richmond Collegiate (FRC) enrolled in the PTEC/MITT software development program, won bronze in the Web Technologies category at the Skills Canada National competition in Québec City.
Skills Canada is a prestigious event that brings together talented students from across the country to showcase their abilities in various skilled trades and technologies.
After qualifying by winning Skills Manitoba in April 2024, Hamza went on to represent the province in the Skills Canada competition. Hamza narrowly missed gold in his first year competing and is eager to compete again. This event has allowed him to explore new opportunities and he looks forward to contributing to Winnipeg's tech industry. He thanks his teachers and peers from PTEC, MITT, and FRC for their continuous support.
Congratulations Hamza!
