Congratulations to school patrol team winners of CAA safety patrol awards

Pembina Trails wishes a big congratulations to Beaumont School for placing third in the CAA city-wide school safety patrol awards. Every year the patrols are judged on their ability, professionalism and technique while on patrol by the School Engagement Section of the Winnipeg Police Service.

The top three school patrols in Pembina Trails recognized this year are Beaumont School (first) Chancellor School (second) and École Van Walleghem (third).

In 2025, there were approximately 7,000 school patrols in Winnipeg ensuring our children arrive safely to their schools.

The Winnipeg Police Service has been involved in the School Safety Patrol Program since 1936. Winnipeg is proud to have had the first fully organized and officially recognized school patrol program in Canada.
