Today’s youth will become the leaders of tomorrow and they can benefit from the opportunity to develop their leadership skills in a variety of ways. This seminar course is designed to help students discover and develop leadership skills. A variety of leadership topics are offered: Group Dynamics, Conflict Resolution, Customer Service, Networking, Time Management, Public Speaking, Problem Solving, Decision Making, Communication Skills, Self-Esteem Building, Teamwork and Resume Writing. Students enrolled in Leadership Education will be involved in community volunteering and special events. To complete the course requirements, students must log a set number of volunteer and theory hours. Classes run once a week during lunch hour (slot 4).
