FRC Hosts International Guests for Student Summit
How do you feed the world in a time of climate change? Fort Richmond Collegiate joined students from England, Australia and other Pembina Trails high schools to exchange ideas and collaborate for this international challenge. Hosts and guests enjoyed learning together at Kelburn Farms and the Human Rights Museum and made new friendships while exploring Winnipeg's places and experiences.
Fort Richmond, along with Nutrients for Life, hosted a student summit on Climate Smart Agriculture at Kelburn Farm. Oak Park, Vincent Massey Collegiate, Shaftesbury, Pembina Trails Collegiate and Fort Richmond Collegiate worked with students from Cornwall, England and Adelaide, Australia to explore climate change and agriculture to design an ideal farm to feed the world in the future.
