In Art, students learn to express their thoughts through a series of skill-building projects that evoke imagination and observation. Students acquire understanding and facility with art elements, principles and media. Using paint, pencil, pastel and clay, students learn to make and read art as a language reflecting time, place, community, culture and identity. Students are inspired to explore the rich connections between thinking and learning. As art nurtures and enriches the mind in its becoming, students learn to surrender to the unanticipated possibilities of their work as it unfolds and discover their way of being in and acting upon the world.  

BAND

Bison Run School offers a band program. The ensembles learn a variety of musical skills and take part in performances throughout the school year.
