Who We Are

Welcome! Bienvenue! Boozhoo! to the Bison Run School community. Opening in early 2023, Bison Run School is a Kindergarten to Grade 8 English School. It is a state of the art, modern inclusive learning environment. Our unique, creative, and able to solve challenges are concepts that describe our students and staff.

At Bison Run, we welcome students from all starting points into meaningful and authentic learning that supports the highest level of intellectual, social and emotional growth, individually and collectively. Our goal is to become a place of personal and intellectual discovery, and to inspire in our students and staff a spirit of wonder and curiosity about learning that stays with them for life. We want to open up the world for our students to give them a sense of purpose and direction, to find their strengths and build the skills needed to find fulfillment in their lives, to seek opportunities to help others and to ensure that they can and do make meaningful contributions to our world.

Bison Run School is a gathering place in the community, where home and school work together to help children know themselves as learners and as individuals. This is a learning community where everyone is welcomed, respected and valued. Together we strive to build a warm, inclusive, caring school that sets high expectations for all who are a part of it.
