Each year, Beaumont staff work collaboratively to gain valuable understanding regarding our students' learning profiles. Beginning in September, classroom teachers, through informal and formal assessments, gather information outlining our students' strengths, interests and needs. Our learners' strengths and needs guide the creation of our School Plan.

Classroom teachers capture each student's learning profile on longitudinal continuum's in literacy, numeracy, writing and word patterns. This information is used by classroom teachers to guide their practice and daily instruction. Student learning profiles are shared with administration and the Student Support Services team to ensure that the appropriate supports are provided in a timely fashion. Student Learning Profile folders are further used to share student learning strengths and needs with the following years' teacher. Progress on school plan goals is captured annually in the Community Report.
