Education Events

The VW Parent Council is excited to bring engaging and informative Education Events to our school community! Throughout the year, we host sessions designed to provide parents and caregivers with valuable insights, practical tips, and resources to support their children's learning and well-being. Below, you’ll find details on both upcoming and past events.

Thursday, October 9th, 6PM -- Reconciliation & Treaties

Join guest presenters Brenda Muswagon & Jill Fast from Pembina Trails as well as École Van Walleghem's own, Suzanne Beauregard to learn more about what our children are learning about reconciliation and how parents can support this journey.  The work with Reconciliation & Treaties doesn't end on September 30th, but many people aren't aware of how they can connect to this work.  This opportunity is open to parents in the community.  For childcare requests, please contact <vwpceducationchair@gmail.com> before Oct. 7th.
