At École Van Walleghem school students in grades 7 and 8 can develop their creative expression as artists and artistically literate persons in our visual arts program. As a full year program the visual arts students receive art instruction by our Art Specialist. The art program allows for the students to explore their own creative ideas, develop skills and techniques through creative art making activities, as well as broaden their cultural understanding through art appreciation. They receive both hands on activities as well as reflective and critical thinking opportunities.
