PTC’s 4th Annual Terry Fox Event

This year was the Terry Fox Foundation’s 46th Anniversary and in true spirit, PTC’s school community came together to raise $4200 towards cancer research.

Our Ambassador Leadership class came together to run a Terry Fox Awareness week, with daily video clips watched in period 1, fundraising competition between classes, t-shirt sales, daily announcements and a school-wide Community Walk.

The school doubled their goal of raising $2000. It really demonstrates PTC’s commitment and awareness for getting involved, making a difference and working together towards a cause. This was PTC’s first school-wide event of the school year, if this is any indication of how the school year will go then it will be one based on community, compassion and collaboration.
