PTC rocks Chatterhigh in Manitoba
ChatterHigh is thrilled to congratulate Pembina Trails Collegiate on placing 1st on the AAAAleaderboard for the Manitoba ChatterHigh Competition, an initiative funded by the Government of Manitoba. As a result of your school’s outstanding efforts, you have earned a $1,200 prize—what an incredible accomplishment!
Throughout the competition, your students, teachers, and even parents engaged with a wide range of career and post-secondary information. We’d like to give a special shout-out to teachers Matthew P, Tracy M, Hannah W, Josh K, Michael P, Daniela S, Kate B, Darlene N, Erin L, Lindsay M, Tess A, and Tracey L for their leadership during this initiative, while acknowledging all other educators who contributed as well. Your entire school community’s involvement played a key role in this success!
If you haven’t already, we invite you to explore the Manitoba Sector Council Career Resources. Funded by the Government of Manitoba, this initiative helps students explore in-demand careers through interactive career modules. Covering 11 key industries, these modules provide insights into career pathways, post-secondary options, and training opportunities—all in a self-marking format that easily fits into lesson plans.
National Competition – Let’s Talk Careers
Simultaneously, we hosted the national Let’s Talk Careers competition in collaboration with Let’s Talk Science, Skills Canada, NGen, NAV CANADA, and the Quantum Algorithms Institute.
We are thrilled to share that Pembina Trails Collegiate earned an additional school prize of $200 on the AAAAleaderboard of the national Let’s Talk Careers competition—recognizing your students’ engagement and achievement on a Canada-wide scale. Congratulations to your school community for this dual accomplishment!
As part of this competition, we also ran a Canada’s Most Informed Student leaderboard, where students could earn $100 bursaries by completing 300 correct answers before the $36,000 prize pot was depleted. We are excited to share that 6 students from your school earned bursaries:
Noam Shor
Eyal Shor
Chizzie Anyanwu
Oyin O
Tiffany Ma
Muhammad Huzaifa
These students have shown tremendous initiative in exploring their future, and we hope your school will celebrate their achievements.
