PTC & Manitoba Construction Career Expo

Grade 9 and 10 students from Pembina Trails Collegiate had the opportunity to attend the annual Manitoba Construction Career Expo, where they explored a wide variety of skilled trades and career pathways. Students participated in hands-on activities including pipe fitting, drywalling, CPR training, bricklaying, virtual reality simulations, operating heavy machinery, climbing hydro poles, riding in bucket lifts and much more! 

The event gave students the chance to learn directly from industry professionals, connect with potential future employers, and speak with post-secondary institutions about opportunities in the skilled trades. It was an exciting and engaging day filled with new experiences and career exploration.
