Pembina Trails shows strong support for Terry Fox School Run

"Schools in Pembina Trails School Division showed great strength in numbers and leadership by raising $24,797.75," says Deanna Holowachuk, Manager, School Runs, Manitoba, Terry Fox Foundation. "Congratulations on this remarkable achievement!" 

Holowachuk's comments were shared in a letter to the Board of Trustees Chair Cindy Nachtigall and included the information that Vincent Massey Collegiate also reached the "Top Fundraising" status in Manitoba for 2024. "The future of cancer research is brighter than ever because of students and staff going above and beyond to make a difference, just like Terry did," writes Holowachuk.

2024 marked the first year the Terry Fox Run surpassed registering 10,000 schools across the country.
