June Bonnycastle Phys Ed Highlights

End of Year Newsletter – Physical Education
June 2025
As the school year comes to a close, We want to take a moment to celebrate all the hard work, growth, and fun we’ve experienced in Physical Education!
This spring, our Grade 4 students truly shined during two exciting outdoor events. First, our Outdoor Track Unit gave students the chance to build stamina, improve technique, and experience the thrill of friendly competition. From relay races to long jumps, every student gave their best effort and supported one another with great sportsmanship. It was inspiring to see their determination and teamwork on full display!
Another major highlight was our joyful Dance in the Park event. Students worked in groups to rehearse and perform choreographed dances outdoors. This creative unit allowed students to express themselves, work collaboratively, and enjoy movement in a new way. The performances were energetic, fun, and a beautiful example of how movement brings people together.
Throughout the year, our curriculum focused on developing physical literacy, teamwork, and healthy habits. Whether in the gym or outside, students practiced a wide range of skills—from fitness and coordination to cooperation and perseverance.
Thank you to all the families who supported our events, encouraged your children, and helped make this year such a success. We're proud of what our students have accomplished and excited for the continued journey ahead.
Wishing you a fun, active, and safe summer!
