Wildlife Learning with Ms. Rachel & Ms. Novicki Gr 1

In Grade One science, Ms. Rachel and Ms. Novicki’s class just completed their animal expert projects! The class voted to learn about raccoons and we loved learning about this local Manitoba animal that lives right here in our city! Our class read many books about raccoons and watched raccoon rescue videos in which humans needed to lend a helping hand to these wild creatures. The students did an amazing job creating raccoon habitats as well as making a whole class non-fiction book about raccoons. Our students know a lot about the needs of raccoons and how their habitats help to meet their needs!
