Special Olympics Article #2

Beaverlodge students had a great time participating in the Special Olympics. Our phys-ed teacher Mr. Adam has been running practices in the gym at morning recesses. It’s a great opportunity for some fun and physical activity. The first of four events took place at Glenlawn High School on September 27. It was a full day of fun as the students played bocce ball against other schools. Students from across the grades got to play, including 1/2 and 4/5. The next event is on December 6 where they will play soccer. Mr. Adam says it’s a great way to get more students participating in physical activity.
