Wonder of Work program sees big growth in Pembina Trails

The 2025–2026 school year in Pembina Trails marked record growth for the Career Trek Wonder of Work (WOW) program with over 100 Grade 5 and 6 students from nine schools, making it Career Trek’s largest program to date. Hosted at Fort Richmond Collegiate, WOW has expanded significantly in Pembina Trails in just three years.

During Wow, students explored more than 30 careers across various industries on Saturdays. Participants learned about the various education pathways prior to participating in hands-on career related activities. WOW helps prepare young learners for future decisions in high school and beyond.
