Today is the International Day of Peace – La Journée internationale de la paix. The theme for this year is Invest in Peace - For Everyone, Everywhere, Every Day

Our UNESCO Club shared this important message with our students today:

As members of this school community, we are called to uphold the human rights and fundamental freedoms of all people, without exception. We strengthen peace when we include others, celebrate diversity, stand against discrimination, and treat every person with dignity and respect.

Peace begins with simple actions: welcoming someone who feels alone, listening to different perspectives, resolving disagreements respectfully, and choosing kindness in our everyday interactions.

Today, let us reflect on how we can be active global citizens. Let us use our voices to promote understanding, our actions to build community, and our education to help create a more just and peaceful future for all.

As a UNESCO school, we believe that peace is not just an ideal to celebrate one day a year. It is a responsibility we carry every day through our words, our actions, and our commitment to one another.
