Reading Takes Us On a Journey

Our February 29 assembly celebrated all the journeys that classes and students took during I Love to Read Month at Royal School.

Ms. Friesen, our fantastic teacher librarian, created an entire airport and airplane within the confines of our library - Royal Airlines. Each class had the experience of going through the process of having a passport created, an airline ticket issued, luggage check and security check, boarding an airplane, in-flight snacks (pretzels or cookies), and more.

She created an incredibly immersive experience for our students that will be one of those unforgettable memories for students who participated.
