50th Anniversary Celebration
Prairie Sunrise School (previously Ryerson School) first opened its doors to students in 1972-1973 school year. Now, 50 years later, the staff, students, and families of the Prairie Sunrise community are excited to celebrate the school’s 50th Anniversary on Thursday, June 22.
The celebration will feature carnival games, bouncy castles, food trucks, choir performances, and a museum of history where photos and artifacts from the school’s past will be shared.
The event is expected to be a great way for current students and their families to connect as the school year draws to a close, but the event is not just limited to its current staff and students. All community members are invited to this event, particularly former staff and students, who will be given the opportunity to walk through the school to reminisce and see how the school has changed over the years.
The celebration begins with a short program at 4:00 at Prairie Sunrise School.
