Blue Bombers Visit Prairie Sunrise School

Throughout the month of February, Prairie Sunrise School has been celebrating "I Love to Read" Month. Several contests, dress-up days, interactive activities, and guest readers have contributed to making the school abuzz with excitement about reading.

The energy was at its highest on Thursday, February 23, when Winnipeg Blue Bombers Paddy Neufeld and Tanner Cadwallader came to the school and read from their favourite picture books, "Where the Wild Things Are" and "The True Story of the 3 Little Pigs."

The football players were also joined by Blue Bomber mascot Boomer, who got the whole school cheering and dancing.

To make an amazing morning even better, the assembly concluded with the introduction of Prairie Sunrise School's very own mascot, Foxy!

Thank you to Paddy, Tanner, and Boomer for taking time to share their love of reading at Prairie Sunrise School.
