Manitoba Indigenous Youth Achievement Awards 2022

Congratulations to Kaylee Wood who received the James Golick Scholarship for Women in Computology at the MIYAA Virtual Awards Celebration. This award is presented to Indigenous women aged 16-24 years in recognition of their achievements in computer sciences, software development, coding or other technology-related activities either in post-secondary institutions, training institutions or working in the field of computer science. The selection process is unique in that the recipients are chosen by a committee of Indigenous youth. FRC is very proud of Kaylee’s accomplishments and we wish her well as she continues her post-secondary studies at the University of Winnipeg in the fall.
