Who We Are

Acadia Junior High is a school that encompasses four core values (COMMUNITY, RESPECT, EMPATHY and EXCELLENCE) that each and every person aspires to live and work by each and every day.

Our school values direct the educational and social decisions that are made within the school. Our primary focus is on the student and the student needs, and our practices reflect this focus. We want to assure you that we intend to partner with you in your academic, social and physical growth along with your well-being.

At Acadia enrichment is achieved through diverse opportunities and experiences that promote academics, athletics, and 21st century skills (character, citizenship, communication, collaboration, critical thinking, & creativity). Examples of these opportunities include: 

• Academic: science fair, math contests, band trips, field trips, divisional enrichment opportunities
• Clubs: Robotics club, chess
• Athletics: intramurals, ultimate frisbee, cross-country, track, soccer
• 21st Century skills; debate club,  green club, athletic club, volunteer opportunities, leadership option (G9), June life days, February Participaction day

It is our hope that each student that attends Acadia Junior High will develop a strong sense of school pride and enjoy all that we have to offer.
