SAFE GRAD 2026

Safe Grad is a parent/student lead event, not a school-sanctioned event allowing our Graduates to celebrate their achievements in a safe environment.  Safe Grad will be held on June 29th, 2026, directly after the Graduation Dinner at approximately 10:00 pm -3:00 am at the RBC Convention Center.  Tickets will go on sale in mid-May.

Shaftesbury Safe Grad Gala 2026 tickets are now officially available for purchase. We are excited to celebrate this special milestone with our graduating students. Please note these are NOT tickets to the grad dinner and dance hosted by Shaftesbury High School - these are for the party hosted by the volunteer parent committee afterwards. Dinner and Dance tickets will be purchased separately in May.

To join the Safe Grad celebration, please follow these three simple steps:

1. Purchase your ticket

Students who purchase their ticket before April 30 will be entered into a draw to win a $50 gift card to The Keg. 

2. Print the required documents
 Please print and review the following documents attached to this email:

• Safe Grad Rules 2026 (PDF)
• Shaftesbury 2026 Safe Grad Registration Form (PDF)
• Photo & Pre-Drinking Agreement (PDF)
• Transportation Release Form (PDF)

NOTE: All forms must be printed, completed, and signed by parents/guardians, students, guests (if applicable), and designated drivers.

Important: All graduates and their guests must present a government-issued photo ID upon entry to the Safe Grad event. Entry will be denied without valid photo identification. If a graduate or guest does not have a driver’s licence or passport, they should obtain a Manitoba Identification Card.

3. Submit your completed forms
Completed forms must be dropped off at the school between May 11 and May 15. Members of the Safe Grad Committee will be at the school to collect the completed forms. Additional details will be shared closer to the date.
