MVP Award: Individual teams. Selected by coach or coaches of that team.

Given to the player who had a key role in the team’s success. This person consistently demonstrates an outstanding level of performance on the field of play and often makes significant contributions to the team’s culture and chemistry off the court, field, or ice. In essence, this is the player who had the largest in-game impact, or who contributed most significantly to the team’s performance over the course of a season.

Coaches Award: Individual teams. Selected by coach or coaches of that team.

Given to a player who demonstrates leadership, commitment, positive attitude, and dedication to the team. This player is recognized both for their performance on the field of play, and for the qualities they demonstrate off the field that help make the team successful. They attend every practice and bring consistent effort and energy. They demonstrate leadership, and a positive attitude that helps keep the team cohesive. They are respected by their peers and relied upon by their coaches. This award represents many of the qualities that we value among Titan Athletes in any sport.

Athlete(s) of the year: Award for each category jv female, jv male, varsity male, and varsity female. Selected by committee.

Is selected by a committee of coaches as it requires input from all coaches and supervisors to determine who is deserving of this honour. Simply put an athlete of the year is someone who contributes significantly to our athletic program through their performance in their sport or sports. Coaches consider: sports played, individual and team success, individual MVP awards received, and character.

Future Leader of Tomorrow Award: Overall award for a varsity male or varsity female athlete. Selected by committee.

Is selected by a committee of coaches based on a student athlete's commitment, perseverance, coachability, leadership, reliability, and their overall representation of what it means to be a Titan Athlete. This is essentially the equivalent of an athlete of the year award but for an athlete who displays characteristics aligned with the coaches' award criteria.
