December the month of giving!

We here at the Pembina Trails Alternative High School have been having a very busy December!  We kicked off the month with a clothing & Winnipeg Jets tickets giveaways thanks to  gracious donations from a local patrons.  Students were able to browse and pick through an assortment of brand new clothing to take home for themselves or family members.

We currently have a free silent auction going on with beautiful baskets put together by our very own Educational Assistant, Phyllis Lightfoot. The staff here at AHS brought in brand new or very gently used items and we put together 15 different themed baskets for our giveaway! The week is ending with our basket draws and food hampers being delivered.   

This month is wrapping up with a soup week.  Our staff are making homemade soups and chili for the final three days before the break and serving in a Covid friendly way throughout the day to send our students off on the holidays with the warmest wishes we can!
