Roots of Empathy with Ms. Latour's Gr 4's

The Roots of Empathy program is an international program designed for children ages 5 to 13. Students are exposed to the vulnerability and humanity of a baby who visits their classroom throughout the school year with their parents.   They observe as the child moves through various milestones in the first year of their life, developing empathy and understanding while integrating numeracy, literacy and creative arts during the lessons.   This year 4 Latour has been fortunate to have baby Lennox visit us once a month with his mother Chelsey.
