Maths and...  moose!

In our class, students work on number sense and learn how to represent numbers with hands-on materials. We also learn how to write numbers and represent them in pairs, guessing if they're even or odd if one element is left alone.

In Science, we learn about the cycle of seasons and students inquiries sometimes lead our learning. Following a question about the moose, students learned that moose lose their antlers! The precious Indigenous learning that Kokum Daisy shared helped us figure out the importance of this amazing mammal in the cycle of life.
