February Notes from the Music Room

A big congratulations

to all Grade 1-3 students on a job well done at the Winter Concert! Thank you to everyone who attended one of our shows, the students worked very hard and were excited to share their songs with you. 

February might be a short month but it is full of amazing things. In the music room, students are exploring their own "Rhythm Olympics", a fun Valetine's day letter game, playing the spoons for festival du voyageur, exploring how books and music go together and finally celebrating some amazing black musicians. 

A big Bravo to our Grade 3 Choir, who participated in our divisional event called Pembina Trails Sings. The students got the opportunity to perform two pieces for other schools and then work with a guest clinician after performing.
