Culture Week, Life Cycle and Caterpillars with Ms Cadiz's Gr 2's

In Grade 2, we've been quite busy. We just finished celebrating Cultural Week. We enjoyed trying new foods every day. Our class favorite was the jollof rice and coconut jelly. In science, we have been studying the life cycle. We have been lucky to watch eggs hatch thanks to Ms. Jasper-Hall and her live cam.  Currently, we have caterpillars in the class to observe. We have been watching them turn into cacoons aka chrysalises and we cannot wait to see them emerge as butterflies in the coming week!
