Building and Structures with Ms. Logan's Grade 3's

We are busy in 3Logan exploring and learning more about structures and the materials used to make them. We went exploring around the school to look for structures we could identify and to name their materials. A structure has a frame, holds a load, and has a purpose. It was fun thinking about the purposes of each object. We are using Brain Builder sets to explore and learn how to build stronger and better structures. We worked in groups to create our own structures and then used the provided cards to re-create specific structures. We are building great learners in 3Logan!
