Teacher of the Year Award goes to Ms. Couchman of Westdale School!

Marnie Couchman, Resource Teacher at Westdale School, honoured with the Teacher of the Year award by the Council of Exceptional Children at last night’s Yes I Can Awards 🎉💫🏆 

Ms. Couchman’s (Marnie) gifts are many. She is an incredible support for students with complex needs and students at risk. Marnie has a true gift for seeing the possibilities in others and supporting students to bring out their abilities. She leads with love and generosity and gives 100% of her effort to her work. Marnie is an essential member of the Westdale Student Services Team and has been instrumental in establishing and continuing our "Crew" programming. Westdale is beyond proud of Marnie and this impressive accomplishment. Way to go, Wildcat!
